WISS CHESS CLUB (Grades 6-10)

Students will be engaged in match observation, practice, and competition with students from different grades. Strategy is involved in the process together with spatial relationships, planning, ethics, and reason. It is also an effective tool for cognitive development.

CSU 360 ̊ SWIMMING (PRE-K / KG)

Swimming is not only good for a child's health; it is a skill that could ultimately save their lives. It is vital that every child can learn to swim and gain core knowledge of water safety. With every new stroke a child learns, they will develop self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Learning to swim at a young age can reduce a child's fear of water and boost self-esteem. Our coaches make this experience fun and enjoyable for the students while teaching them a vital life skill.

PYTHON AI PROGRAMMING (Grade 9-12)

This course is aimed to introduce students to Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI is all about making students computer smart! It is a new trend in our technology world, where computers can learn and sometimes outsmart humans.

Besides being introduced to Python (a popular programming language for building intelligent web servers and mobile applications), students will learn about important AI concepts and algorithms. Students will explore classical AI with examples and projects on the theoretical aspects they will learn through searching and identifying algorithms. Some specific topics include Narrow AI vs. AGI, search trees, computer vision, and Chatbots! They will build simple game AIs, implement different algorithms, and create their own Chatbots.

ROBLOX: CREATE YOUR OWN GAMES (Grade 6-8)

The Roblox course allows students to create tailor-made and fun modifications to their Roblox Game. Programming will be done using drag and drop blocks inside Code Kingdoms. As the lesson progresses, students will learn about programming concepts of Drag & Drop, Loops, Sequences, Variables & Conditionals and apply them to the mods that they create.

VIRTUAL REALITY (Grades 4-5)

Throughout the course, WISS Primary students learn how to build 3D assets, compile them into a world, and experience it in Virtual Reality (VR) using the tool CoSpaces. They will learn the concepts needed to create a coherent and immersive 3D space and apply their programming knowledge to render their world functional and interactive using block base programming. Important VR features, including player navigation, player control, object movements, and collisions, will be covered in this course.

LENGO GOLF

LENGO International Golf Academy is a strategic partner for youth campus golf designated by the Shanghai Golf Association. Professional and happy learning is our educational philosophy. Let’s Enjoy Golf (L EN GO) is the purpose of our academy. LENGO offers professional youth golf education and training. LENGO uses the professional training of competitive golf and deeply integrates our own teaching system with cooperative golf courses and driving ranges to provide students with diversified and professional learning and practical content. This content includes the full swing course of putting, chipping, and air swing of soft golf.

SCRATCH (Grade1-3)

In this course, students learn fundamental computer science concepts such as sequences, loops, conditionals, and abstraction by building their own fun projects of animated stories and multimedia games. Students are encouraged and supported by professionally trained instructors to design creative games and to think about the programming processes behind the apps and games they see in their daily lives.

LEGO & CODING (PRE-K / KG / 12 MAX)

In this course, students will learn what simple machines are (gears, pulleys, axles, levers, etc.) and how simple machines work. In addition to Lego, students will be introduced to coding fundamentals and concepts through OSMO coding blocks.
